That's why every project is approached by specialists instead of asking one person to do everything.

Meet The People Behind Simple Easy Websites

Tim

Founder & CEO

Some people build houses. Others build engines. Tim has spent his life building businesses.

Born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, Tim learned early that success rarely comes from luck. It comes from hard work, curiosity, and a willingness to figure things out when no one else has the answer. Throughout his life, he has been drawn to one thing above all else—building.

Whether it was learning new skills, creating businesses from the ground up, helping entrepreneurs solve difficult problems, or designing systems that make life easier, Tim has always believed that the greatest satisfaction comes from creating something that didn't exist before.

That builder's mindset has guided every chapter of his career.

Over the years, Tim has owned businesses, coached entrepreneurs, spoken on stages, hosted podcasts, built websites, developed marketing systems, and created educational programs designed to help small business owners grow with confidence. Along the way, he discovered a simple truth: most business owners don't fail because they lack passion—they struggle because they lack clear systems and practical guidance.

That realization became the foundation of Tim Gillette Media.

Today, Tim leads a company focused on helping entrepreneurs build businesses that are simple to operate, easy to understand, and designed for long-term growth. Through Simple Easy Websites, he helps business owners create websites that generate leads instead of simply existing online. Through Simple Easy Marketing, he teaches practical marketing systems that remove confusion and replace it with consistent action. And through Success Is Mechanical, he helps entrepreneurs understand that business success isn't magic—it's the result of building dependable systems, making steady improvements, and doing the work that moves the business forward.

Tim also hosts The Tim Gillette Show, where he interviews entrepreneurs, business owners, and industry experts to uncover the stories, lessons, and experiences that inspire others to take action. He's also developing Like the Way You Drink, another podcast built around meaningful conversations and the relationships that often begin over a shared drink.

Outside of business, Tim has always enjoyed restoring and improving machines. He recently sold his 2015 Harley-Davidson Road Glide, a motorcycle he thoroughly enjoyed riding, and is now searching for his next project vehicle. Whether it's a classic car, a truck, or another machine with potential, Tim enjoys the challenge of taking something good and making it even better.

That same philosophy shapes every business he helps build.

For Tim, success has never been about chasing shortcuts. It's about understanding how things work, improving them one step at a time, and helping others build something they'll be proud of for years to come.

Tim's philosophy:

"The strongest businesses aren't built overnight. They're built the same way great machines are—one well-crafted part at a time."

Layla

Chief of Staff

Every successful company has someone who keeps everything moving in the right direction. At Tim Gillette Media, that's Layla.

Growing up on a family farm in Montrose, Pennsylvania, Layla learned early that success doesn't happen by accident. Whether it was organizing daily chores, preparing for the next season, or making sure everyone knew their responsibilities, she discovered that great systems make hard work easier.

Today, Layla brings that same philosophy to Tim Gillette Media.

As our Chief of Staff, she helps transform ideas into action. She coordinates projects, keeps departments working together, tracks priorities, and makes sure nothing important falls through the cracks. While Tim focuses on vision and creating new opportunities, Layla ensures the team has the structure and organization to bring those ideas to life.

She believes the best businesses don't run on chaos—they run on clear communication, dependable systems, and people who know how to work together.

When she's away from the office, you'll often find her behind the wheel of her beautifully restored 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS, a red muscle car with black racing stripes that reflects her appreciation for classic craftsmanship and timeless reliability.

Layla's philosophy:

"The best organizations, like the best farms, thrive when everyone knows their role and every job has a purpose."

Roxanne

Project Manager

Behind every successful project is someone who knows how to bring people together, keep everyone focused, and make sure the work gets finished. At Tim Gillette Media, that person is Roxanne.

Growing up in Ogden, Utah, as the oldest of eleven sisters, Roxanne learned leadership long before she ever held a management title. In a house full of activity, she discovered that the only way to keep everything running smoothly was through organization, communication, and teamwork. Helping her mother coordinate daily responsibilities taught her that great leaders don't do everything themselves—they help everyone succeed together.

Those lessons became the foundation of her career.

Today, Roxanne serves as the Project Manager for Tim Gillette Media, working alongside Layla to transform ideas into reality. Once a vision is approved, Roxanne builds the project plan, coordinates the team, tracks progress, and makes sure every department has what it needs to move forward. She thrives on turning complicated projects into simple, manageable steps that keep everyone moving toward the same goal.

Her teammates appreciate her calm approach, attention to detail, and ability to see the big picture without losing sight of the next task. She believes every successful project starts with a clear plan, realistic expectations, and consistent communication.

Away from work, Roxanne enjoys the outdoors, spending time with family, and taking scenic drives through the mountains in her beautifully restored 1969 Chevrolet Camaro. Painted in sleek black, it's a reflection of her personality—classic, dependable, and always ready for the next adventure. You'll often find her wearing one of her favorite purple sundresses, a small reminder that even the busiest schedules should leave room for enjoying life.

Roxanne's philosophy:

"Big accomplishments are built one well-planned step at a time."

Brooke

Marketing Director

Every great business has a story to tell. Brooke's passion is making sure the right people hear it.

Growing up in Canfield, Ohio, Brooke looked forward to one event every year more than anything else—the county fair. While most people came for the rides, games, and food, Brooke was fascinated by something different. She loved watching what made people stop, smile, and decide to join in. As a teenager working at the fair, she discovered that the best marketing wasn't about convincing people to buy something. It was about creating an experience people wanted to be part of.

That lesson stayed with her long after the fairgrounds closed for the season.

After restoring her beloved red and white 1967 Ford F-100 as a teenager, Brooke set out on a road trip after college that would change her life. Along the way she learned photography, video production, social media, and digital marketing, discovering how the internet could help businesses share their stories with people all over the world. She realized that every business has something valuable to offer—it simply needs someone who knows how to tell its story.

Today, Brooke serves as the Marketing Director for Tim Gillette Media. She leads the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, working closely with the rest of the team to make sure every website, product, program, podcast, and service reaches the people who need it most. Whether she's building a content calendar, planning a product launch, creating social media campaigns, or brainstorming new ways to generate leads, Brooke is always thinking about how to create meaningful connections between businesses and their customers.

She believes marketing isn't about chasing trends or making the loudest noise. It's about building trust, solving real problems, and inviting people into a story they want to be part of.

You'll often find Brooke behind the wheel of her beautifully restored 1967 Ford F-100, camera in hand, always searching for the next great story waiting to be told.

Brooke's philosophy:

"People don't connect with businesses—they connect with stories. Tell the right story, and the right people will find you."

Penny

CRM & Automation Director

Some people look at software and see buttons, menus, and settings. Penny sees an engine waiting to be tuned.

Growing up in Midland, Texas, Penny was surrounded by the oilfield industry. Her father spent his career making sure equipment stayed running, and from an early age she learned that every system has a purpose. If one part failed, the whole operation slowed down. She developed an appreciation for organization, maintenance, and understanding how all the moving pieces worked together.

Those lessons followed her long after she left home.

Unlike most people, Penny never outgrew her blue-collar roots. You'll usually find her in a hoodie and jeans, perfectly happy spending a Saturday turning wrenches on her favorite project—a beautifully restored 1966 blue Ford Mustang. To Penny, rebuilding a classic car isn't much different than building a great automation. Every wire, every bolt, and every adjustment matters. When everything works together, the result is something dependable that performs exactly as it was designed.

That same mindset made her fall in love with marketing automation.

The first time Penny opened a Kartra dashboard, she didn't see complicated software. She saw another system that could be fine-tuned, improved, and engineered to help businesses run more efficiently. Today, as the CRM & Automation Director for Tim Gillette Media, Penny designs sales funnels, builds email campaigns, creates automations, organizes tags and customer journeys, and ensures every lead moves smoothly through the business. She enjoys taking complicated processes and simplifying them into systems that save time, reduce mistakes, and create better experiences for clients.

Penny believes great automation should never replace personal relationships. Instead, it should handle the repetitive work so business owners have more time to serve the people who matter most.

Whether she's rebuilding her Mustang or building the next marketing funnel, Penny approaches every project with the same philosophy: understand the system, improve the system, and keep it running at its very best.

Penny's philosophy:

"The best systems aren't the ones with the most parts—they're the ones where every part works together."

Lucy

Systems Architect

Every successful project begins long before the first website is built or the first line of copy is written. It begins with a plan. That's where Lucy comes in.

Lucy grew up in Canyon, Texas, where the breathtaking landscapes of Palo Duro Canyon became her classroom. During the summers, she worked as a tour guide at the state park, helping visitors experience one of Texas' greatest natural wonders. Guiding people through the canyon taught her an important lesson that still shapes her work today: every great journey needs a clear path, thoughtful direction, and someone who has already mapped the way.

That passion for creating meaningful experiences led Lucy to attend Baylor University, where she studied Digital Learning Design. There she discovered that designing websites, courses, and business systems wasn't all that different from guiding someone through a canyon. Whether you're leading hikers down a trail or customers through a website, success depends on making every step feel natural and intentional.

Today, Lucy serves as the Architect for Tim Gillette Media. Before a new website, marketing campaign, online course, or business system is ever built, Lucy creates the blueprint. She designs customer journeys, website layouts, funnels, learning experiences, and business workflows so the rest of the team has a clear plan to follow. Her work ensures that every project starts with structure instead of guesswork.

Unlike the rest of the team, Lucy isn't passionate about classic cars. Her vehicle of choice is a 2021 Jeep Gladiator, perfectly suited for exploring back roads, camping under the stars, and discovering new places throughout Texas. Her adventurous spirit reminds her that every destination is reached one trail at a time.

When she's not designing systems, Lucy enjoys playing piano in a ten-piece bar band. Sharing a lifelong love of classical music with her younger brother, she has learned that whether you're performing a song or building a business, every individual part has to work together to create something memorable.

Lucy's philosophy:

"Every great destination begins with a well-designed path."

Windy

Art Director

Some people see a blank canvas and wonder what to paint. Windy sees endless possibilities.

Growing up in Asheville, North Carolina, Windy spent countless hours sketching the world as she imagined it. While other kids were playing outside, she filled notebooks with landscapes, colorful patterns, and ideas that existed only in her imagination. Art wasn't simply a hobby—it was how she understood the world. She was especially inspired by the expressive style of Jackson Pollock, whose paintings showed her that creativity doesn't always have to follow the rules to make a lasting impression.

As her artistic style evolved, Windy found inspiration in an unexpected place: rock and roll. She became fascinated by the famous red, black, and white guitar played by Eddie Van Halen, recognizing that its iconic design carried the same bold energy she admired in Pollock's work. Inspired by both artists, she transformed her 1969 Ford Bronco into a one-of-a-kind masterpiece painted in the same unmistakable style. To this day, it's impossible to miss Windy driving down the road.

While many artists chose galleries, Windy discovered her passion in the digital world. She realized that websites, logos, graphics, and brand identities could evoke the same emotions as a painting hanging on a museum wall. Design became more than creating something beautiful—it became a way to help businesses tell their stories before a single word was ever read.

Today, Windy serves as the Art Director for Tim Gillette Media. She works closely with every department to ensure each website, program, presentation, social media campaign, and marketing piece reflects the personality of the business behind it. From selecting color palettes and typography to designing graphics and creating visual experiences, Windy believes that every detail should reinforce the message the company wants to communicate.

She knows that first impressions happen in seconds, but lasting impressions are created through thoughtful design that makes people feel something.

Whether she's painting on canvas, creating digital artwork, or taking her Bronco out for a drive through the Blue Ridge Mountains, Windy approaches every project with the same goal: create something unforgettable.

Windy's philosophy:

"People may forget the words, but they'll always remember how great design made them feel."

Angie

Head of Research

Every great decision begins with great information. That's why, before the team launches a new website, creates a new program, or introduces a new service, they turn to Angie.

Growing up in Springfield, Missouri, Angie spent much of her childhood at her father's neighborhood garage and service station located along historic Route 66. While her dad repaired cars and welcomed travelers from across the country, Angie found herself fascinated by the stories they shared. She wanted to know where they had come from, where they were headed, and what made the Mother Road one of America's most legendary highways.

That curiosity quickly became a lifelong passion.

By the time she turned eighteen, Angie had spent years reading everything she could find about Route 66. Rather than simply trusting what she had read, she climbed behind the wheel of her beautifully restored 1962 baby blue Chevrolet Corvette and drove the entire length of the Mother Road—from Chicago to Santa Monica. Along the way, she stopped at historic landmarks, visited forgotten towns, talked with local business owners, and discovered that the best research comes from experiencing something firsthand.

That philosophy continues to guide her work today.

As the Research Director for Tim Gillette Media, Angie believes facts should never be accepted at face value. She researches industries, competitors, software, marketing trends, customer needs, and business strategies to ensure every recommendation the company makes is accurate, practical, and genuinely helpful. Whether she's helping improve a training program, verifying information for a client website, or uncovering new opportunities, Angie is always searching for the details that others overlook.

Her teammates know that if Angie says something is ready, it has been thoroughly researched, carefully verified, and tested against real-world experience.

She believes knowledge becomes truly valuable only after it's put into practice—a lesson she learned one mile at a time traveling America's most famous highway.

Angie's philosophy:

"Don't just research the road—drive it."

Amanda

Programing  Director

Some people collect books. Amanda collects ideas.

Growing up in Andover, Massachusetts, Amanda was raised in a family that understood the importance of helping people when they needed it most. Her father drove a tow truck, responding to breakdowns at all hours of the day and night. Her mother worked as a police dispatcher, calmly coordinating emergency calls and making sure the right people arrived at the right place at the right time.

As a young girl, Amanda often rode along with her father and watched how every call followed a process. Later, while visiting her mother's dispatch center, she became fascinated by the organized flow of information. She realized that behind every successful response was a system that connected people, resources, and timing. Those experiences taught her that organization wasn't just about keeping things neat—it was about helping people solve problems.

While attending college, Amanda worked as a dispatcher for the towing company where her father was employed. Every day she matched drivers with service calls, coordinated schedules, and made sure each customer received the help they needed. She discovered she loved putting all the pieces together, much like solving a giant puzzle where every decision mattered.

That same curiosity carried into another passion.

Amanda became an avid student of personal development. Over the years she read hundreds of books, attended seminars, purchased online courses, and studied successful coaches from around the world. Friends often joked that she was a self-help junkie, but Amanda believed every program contained at least one idea capable of changing someone's life. She also enjoyed rebuilding and modernizing her 1986 Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z, inspired by the blend of classic muscle and modern technology she admired after watching The Fast and the Furious. To her, improving a car wasn't much different than improving a course—keep what works, upgrade what doesn't, and never stop making it better.

Today, Amanda serves as the Program Director for Tim Gillette Media. She oversees every educational program the company creates, reviews years of existing training, identifies gaps, updates outdated material, and ensures every course delivers a clear path to success. She works closely with the rest of the team to transform knowledge into practical learning experiences that help entrepreneurs build stronger businesses.

Amanda believes education should never sit on a shelf collecting dust. It should inspire action, create confidence, and give people the tools they need to move forward.

Amanda's philosophy:

"The best programs don't just teach people something new—they help them become someone new."

Vicki

Knowledge Manager

Every successful company has someone who knows where everything is, how it got there, and why it matters. At Tim Gillette Media, that's Vicki.

Vicki grew up in Oswego, New York, in a home where learning was simply a way of life. Her father was a college professor, and her mother worked as the university librarian. While other children spent their afternoons playing outside, Vicki often found herself surrounded by books, card catalogs, research papers, and conversations about ideas. It wasn't long before she discovered she had a gift for bringing order to information.

As she grew older, that gift became a career.

After college, Vicki accepted a bookkeeping position with a small accounting firm in New York City. Although she enjoyed the precision and organization of the work, the fast-paced city life never felt like home. One day she made a life-changing decision. She packed everything she could fit into her 1968 Chevrolet Impala, pointed it west, and started driving without knowing exactly where she'd end up.

Texas felt different.

The slower pace, friendly people, and wide-open spaces reminded her that life wasn't meant to be rushed. She decided to stay, and she's been helping people stay organized ever since.

Today, Vicki serves as the Knowledge Manager for Tim Gillette Media. She is the keeper of the company's collective knowledge, organizing documents, procedures, templates, training materials, meeting notes, and years of experience so nothing valuable is ever lost. Whether it's finding an old project, documenting a new process, or preserving ideas for future generations, Vicki believes information only becomes valuable when people can easily find and use it.

Her teammates often joke that if something has ever existed inside the company, Vicki knows exactly where it is. More often than not, they're right.

The only member of the team to drive a classic sedan instead of a sports car or truck, Vicki loves her Impala because it reflects who she is—dependable, spacious, timeless, and built to carry everything that's important. With her bright red hair and appreciation for life's simple pleasures, she's perfectly content wherever she is, as long as it isn't New York City.

Vicki's philosophy:

"Knowledge isn't valuable because it's stored. It's valuable because people can find it when they need it."

Grace

Director of Web Operations

Behind every great website is someone making sure everything works exactly as it should. At Tim Gillette Media, that's Grace.

Growing up in Joliet, Illinois, Grace was raised in a family devoted to serving others. Her father was the pastor of a small church, and her mother faithfully played the organ every Sunday morning. While most children simply listened to the music, Grace was fascinated by how the instrument worked. Whenever the organ developed a problem, she wanted to understand why. Before long, she had become the family's unofficial repair technician, learning that even the smallest adjustment could make everything work beautifully again.

That curiosity didn't stop with musical instruments.

When Grace was just nine years old, she helped her father build the church's very first website. What began as a simple project quickly became a lifelong passion. She spent countless hours learning how websites worked, teaching herself programming, experimenting with WordPress, and discovering how technology could help churches, businesses, and organizations better serve their communities.

Over the years, Grace became known for something many people overlook—dependability. She believes a great website isn't the flashiest one on the internet. It's the one that's always available, loads quickly, stays secure, and quietly does its job every single day.

Today, Grace serves as the Director of Web Operations for Tim Gillette Media. She oversees the technical health of every website the company manages, ensuring each one is secure, fast, reliable, and built to last. From WordPress updates and hosting performance to backups, security, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance, Grace is the person who keeps everything running behind the scenes.

She also works closely with Diane, her longtime friend from Purdue University, helping establish the standards and systems used to build and maintain client websites. Together they combine technical excellence with exceptional client care, ensuring every website reflects the quality Tim Gillette Media promises.

Unlike the rest of the team, Grace is the only one who prefers a foreign classic. Her beautifully restored 1975 Datsun 280Z reflects her appreciation for precision engineering, thoughtful design, and dependable performance—qualities she strives to bring to every website she touches.

Grace believes technology should never become the center of attention. When it's built correctly, it simply works, allowing business owners to focus on what they do best: serving their customers.

Grace's philosophy:

"The strongest websites are built so well that people never have to think about them—they simply trust them."

Diane

Client Website Director

A great website is only part of a successful project. The real success comes from making sure every client feels heard, understood, and confident throughout the journey. That's where Diane shines.

Growing up in Clarksville, Indiana, just across the river from Louisville, Kentucky, Diane experienced the best of two worlds. She enjoyed the close-knit values of a small town while being surrounded by the opportunities and energy of a larger city. Those experiences taught her that no matter where people come from, they all want to feel valued and understood.

Life wasn't always easy. Diane grew up in a blended family and never developed the close relationship she hoped to have with her stepsister. That experience left her longing for the kind of friendship where people genuinely supported one another.

She found that friendship at Purdue University.

While studying there, Diane met Grace, and the two quickly discovered a shared passion for building websites. What began as late-night study sessions turned into countless evenings designing websites, solving technical challenges, and dreaming about helping small businesses succeed online. Over time, Grace became more than a classmate—she became the sister Diane had always wished for.

Although they make an incredible team, there is one topic they still debate with a smile. Grace has always loved her classic Japanese sports car, while Diane insists nothing compares to American muscle. She proudly drives her eye-catching 1965 Ford Galaxie 500, painted a bold hot pink that perfectly reflects her outgoing personality. It's impossible to miss, and Diane wouldn't have it any other way.

Today, Diane serves as the Client Website Director for Tim Gillette Media. She is the bridge between clients and the production team, making sure every project moves smoothly from the first conversation to the final launch. She helps clients understand the process, gathers the information the team needs, keeps communication flowing, and ensures every website reflects the client's goals and vision.

Working closely with Grace, Diane combines technical understanding with genuine customer care. While Grace focuses on building dependable websites, Diane focuses on building dependable relationships. Together, they help clients feel confident that their website isn't just another project—it's an investment in the future of their business.

Diane believes every client deserves to feel like they're the most important project on the schedule, because lasting relationships are built one conversation at a time.

Diane's philosophy:

"People may hire us to build a website, but they'll remember how we made them feel throughout the journey." them."
